33rd TF M&M meeting, Wallingford (UK), 4-6 April 2017

The 33rd meeting of the Task Force of the ICP on Modelling and Mapping Critical Levels and Loads and Air Pollution Effects, Risks and Trends (TF M&M) is held in Wallingford (UK) from 4 to 6 April 2017. Note that important deadlines are 28 February TF registration + 20 March hotel.

Dear colleagues,

Following the invitation of our hosts of the Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, and on behalf of Anne-Christine Le Gall, chairwoman of the Task Force of the ICP Modelling and Mapping, it is my pleasure to invite you to the 33rd Task Force meeting held in Wallingford from 4-6 April 2017.

The meetings will start on Tuesday morning 4 April and close at around lunch time on Thursday 6 April 2017.

While, due to financial constraints of the CCE, next year’s ICP M&M meeting cannot include a CCE workshop in a format known from past years, the Task Force M&M meeting will include interesting scientific contributions.
Therefore, please feel encouraged to present an oral presentation or poster addressing progress of your research and results, with respect to one (or more) of the following objectives of the meeting:

1. CCE and NFC presentations and discussions regarding the work and results of the Call for Data 2015-2017
2. Update on experimental and modelling results of abiotic and biotic changes due to air pollution and climate change
3. Review of the Mapping Manual
4. Progress under the LRTAP Convention in relation to the workplan and 3rd joint meeting of the EMEP Steering Body and Working Group on Effects

Anne Christine and I will do our best to ensure sufficient time for oral presentations.

Registrations were welcomed preferably before 28th February 2017 at: https://www.formdesk.com/rivm/registrationform33TaskForce . A time schedule of the agenda topics is available.

Other information includes information on hotel accommodation, conference venue and transportation. Please don’t forget to finalise your hotel arrangements ASAP, as rooms cannot be guaranteed after 20th March 2017.

On behalf of Jane Hall, of the National Focal Centre of the UK, and of  Anne-Christine Le Gall I look forward to your early registration and seeing you in Wallingford !

Kind regards,

Dr. Jean-Paul Hettelingh
Head, Coordination Centre for Effects (CCE)
National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM)
