The Programme Centre for the Modelling and Mapping of Critical Levels and Loads and Air Pollution Effects, Risks and Trends
Bilthoven, the Netherlands
The CCE was established by the Dutch Ministry of the Environment, and began its work in 1990.
The CCE is responsible for the development of modelling methodologies and databases for the integrated assessment of effects of air pollution (under climate change) on biodiversity in European natural areas, including Natura 2000 sites. Results are successfully used in European air pollution agreements.
